Advanced Placement Courses
The Advanced Placement® Program (AP) enable students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. The AP Program develops college-level courses offered by the high school with corresponding AP Exams that are administered once a year. Students can earn college credits based on their AP Exam scores.

CAPP
The Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) affords students an opportunity to take college level courses at Muskego High School. By taking a CAPP course, students earn both high school and college course credits through UW-Oshkosh. The grades earned in courses designated as CAPP will carry a weighted value (.05) per semester when a student’s grade point average is calculated.

Dual Enrollment Academy
Looking to earn college credit while still in high school? Consider WCTC’s Dual Enrollment Academy. You can earn credits while exploring high-demand fields, including Tool and Die/CNC, Welding/Fabrication, Automation Systems (Robotics), IT Systems Specialist, Protective Services, Building Construction Trades or Hospitality Specialist areas. This program involves spending the majority of your school-day, both fall and spring semesters, at WCTC. You are required to provide your own safety equipment (e.g. shoes or goggles), school supplies and transportation to and from campus. After successfully completing the program, you’ll earn a WCTC certificate or diploma along with high school credits. Eligibility and timeline information can be viewed HERE.
Early College Credit Program
Early College Credit Program (ECCP) allows a student in grades 9-12 to apply to enroll in a UW System institution or a participating private/nonprofit institution of higher education (IHE), to take one or more courses up to 18 credits, for which the student may earn high school credit and post-secondary credit. Students must meet certain criteria. For more information about ECCP in the UW System, please click HERE. For more information about ECCP in the WAICU (Private Colleges & Universities), please click HERE. The deadline for submitting completed ECCP applications for Spring Semester 2025 is October 1, 2024. The deadline for submitting completed ECCP applications for Fall Semester 2025 is March 1, 2025.
Start College Now
Start College Now allows a student in grades 11-12 to apply to enroll in a Wisconsin Technical College, to take one or more courses up to 18 credits, for which the student may earn high school credit and post-secondary credit. Students must meet certain criteria. For more information on Start College Now, please click HERE. For information about Start College Now and Waukesha County Technical College please click HERE. The deadline for submitting completed Start College Now applications for Spring Semester 2025 is October 1, 2024. The deadline for submitting completed ECCP applications for Fall Semester 2025 is March 1, 2025. Students cannot be enrolled in both ECCP and Start College Now at the same time.
Transcripted Credit
Transcripted credit courses are those in which a technical college curriculum is taught and students earn both high school and college credit simultaneously, using the technical college grading policies and standards as agreed to in the agreement.
These courses are taught by a WTCS certified instructor or high school instructor who holds current DPI license in related area and has been granted WTCS certification. Student grades are posted to an official college transcript and tabulated in their technical college GPA. Courses taken for technical college credit appear on a student's college transcript and shall be transferable to other technical colleges who have the same program.
